We congratulate new parents and rejoice with those who wish to baptize their child. Baptism is the public
celebration of the beginning of life in the Church. At the celebration of Infant Baptism, parents publicly affirm their
decision to raise their children in the faith. The process of preparing
for a child's Baptism includes several steps, including sacramental preparation and the completion of necessary paperwork.
At the completion of all steps the date of Baptism will be scheduled, therefore, we encourage parents to begin the process before
the birth of their child.
Call the parish office to register for the Baptism Preperation and Formation class
held the first Sunday of the month.
Baptisms for infants and children (through age six) are celebrated the third and fourth Sundays of the month following
the 11:30 AM Mass. No Baptisms during Lent.
Parents must be registered in the parish and active in the life of the parish. Older children and
youth are invited to participate in the Rite of Christian Initiation for Children.
