We have often been taught to be strong, self-sufficient, independent people.
We tend to think that if we ask for help, it is a sign of weakness. So, we try to keep
our struggles hidden, stuffed deep inside. However, that is not God's plan.
God wants us to care for others....and allow others to care for us in our time of need.
If you or someone you know could benefit from one-on-one visits from a trained
Stephen Minister, ask for help. We have trained parish members who are ready
to listen, care, encourage, pray and help you through a tough time.
Stephen Ministry is confidential Christian caring.
* Serious illness and/or hospitalization
* Grief from the death of a loved one
* Job crisis or job loss
* Terminal illness
* Issues related to family changes: such as divorce, new baby, empty nest
* Spiritual stresses
* Loneliness
* Any reason a person would benefit from support of a caring Catholic friend
A Stephen Minister is.....a person who works confidentially
a friend to walk beside a hurting person
a person who has taken 50 hrs of training
a person who can really listen
a person who will pray for and with you

Dear friends, since God so loved us, we also ought to love one another. No one has ever seen God;
but if we love one another, God lives in us and his love is made complete in us. 1 John 4:11-12
