The 99 Experience

  The 99 Experience is about recognizing that Jesus is looking for all of us!
  We are the 99 and we are all called to look for the One!
  The 99 Experience is a powerful program that can be a springboard for deepening our faith as we grow in identity, purpose and community.
  The 99 Experience is for everyone!
  Each of the sessions will have 2 or 3 short (8-14 minute total) videos followed by small group discussion questions.

Session I
- Segment 1 Video: "Hiding"
  
  This short film opens The 99 Experience and contains themes from the parables of Jesus, such as the Lost Sheep and the Prodigal Son, placing them in a modern context. It explores some of the ways we might find ourselves lost or hiding from God’s fatherly love.
- Segment 2 Video: "Wounds"
  
  Fr. Josh Johnson unpacks the ways in which our wounds might lead us into hiding and cause us to separate ourselves from God. He presents the Church as a hospital for sinners rather than a museum for saints.
- Segment 3 Video: "Identity"
  
  Leah Darrow shares the first part of her powerful conversion, reminding us that even if our past seems messy and difficult, God’s transformative love is bigger than our fear of our past or of our future.

- Segment 1 Video: "Return"
  
  Mark Hart shares his journey of asking the big questions of life and how we can all seek the truth of our faith amidst the competing voices of the world.

  In this second part of her testimony, Leah Darrow shares the transformative impact that Christ had in her life, and the ways in which she continues to grow in her walk with Christ.

  Fr. Mike Schmitz describes how the sacrament of Reconciliation is a place of victory.
Session III
- Segment 1 Video: "Connected"
  
  Sister Miriam, Bob Lesnefsky, and Cande DeLeon share their testimonies of struggle with their faith, and illustrate how, though each of our stories might be very different, we are all connected as Catholics and called to grow with one another closer to Christ.

  Mark Hart explains how we are all called to play a part in God’s plan for salvation.
