Tis the Season! Our Advent trees are up with tags from different organizations on them. There will also be envelopes available for monetary donations for three additional organizations. Those envelopes will be on a table in the Gathering Space, as well as in a basket at the back of the church. Please read the tag labels carefully. Remember to attach each tag to the donated item. All donated items are to be returned by December 5. Our drivers will be scheduled to drop-off items in time for organizations to distribute before Christmas.

For more than 80 years, the St. Dominic Catholic Parish at West Warren and Trumbull in Detroit has served all its neighbors, spiritually, liturgically and communally, but especially in meeting the daily needs of the unemployed, working poor and homeless. When St. Dominic Parish was closed in 2005, the Archdiocese of Detroit recognized the critical importance of sustaining and expanding the ministry to a community where more than a third of households subsist at annual incomes below the poverty level. Today the need is greater and the Center stays dedicated to securing the means necessary to meet the basic life needs and maintain the self-dignity of its neighbors.
Northville Civic Concern is an all-volunteer organization whose purpose is to help those in need with food, yet it also collects and distributes household supplies, clothing and other necessities.
PREGNANCY CENTERS: To continue our support for mothers in need, we will be collecting baby items to benefit local pregnancy centers.Gift Card Tree: Many organizations do not have storage space to collect items but can always use gift cards to help families celebrate Christmas and throughout the year. Take a tag off the tree and attach it to the gift card. You can put it in the collections basket or turn it into the Parish Office. Meijer, Kroger, Target, Costo, Gordan Food Service, fueld cards or Walmart are most helpful in increments of $25, $50 or $75.
