Wanting to study the Bible, but also a little intimidated by it? The next year of Bible Study from the Catholic Biblical School of Michigan kicks off September 15. Register today at cbsm.org.In Walking Daily with God, we prayerfully study the Psalms and Wisdom Literature of the Old Testament, the Catholic/General Epistles, John’s Gospel and Letters, and the Book of Revelation. Participants engage with the deep wisdom of the Word that enlightens our minds, hearts, and the world. Through these Scriptures, truth, beauty, and goodness form us for a lifetime of discipleship. Not your typical Bible Study
CBSM offers the unique opportunity of studying the entire Bible through a Catholic lens. You receive seminary-level, in-person instruction, giving you direct access to ask questions and take a deep dive into the comprehensive study of the languate, theology, and culture of the bible.
All faculty members hold graduate degrees in Catholic theology and are experienced teachers, deeply devoted to the Catholic faith.
Your instructor is available to answer questions in person, as well as via email.
Classes are a comprehensive study, including historical context, the Scriptural text itself, and how the Word is still active today in our faith and our lives.
Our rich structure includes prayer, written reflection, reading, discussion, and Q&A.
You get all this while enjoying an in-person, weekly gathering of Catholics from many parishes in your local area. And, don't worry, there are no tests or grades!
