This year's program focuses on the Prophets. There are two additional books for class: "Introduction to the Prophets" and "Knowing God the Father Through the Old Testament."
In Called to Return to Love, we encounter the major and minor Prophets of the Old Testament, as well as the books of Tobit, Judith, and Esther. In these inspired works, the Lord calls us to grow in holiness, worshiping while living in right relationship with both God and neighbor. Participants remark how the Prophets illuminate the life and ministry of Jesus.

Not your typical Bible Study
CBSM offers the unique opportunity of studying the entire Bible through a Catholic lens. You receive seminary-level, in-person instruction, giving you direct access to ask questions and take a deep dive into the comprehensive study of the languate, theology, and culture of the bible.
All faculty members hold graduate degrees in Catholic theology and are experienced teachers, deeply devoted to the Catholic faith.
Your instructor is available to answer questions in person, as well as via email.
Classes are a comprehensive study, including historical context, the Scriptural text itself, and how the Word is still active today in our faith and our lives.
Our rich structure includes prayer, written reflection, reading, discussion, and Q&A.
You get all this while enjoying an in-person, weekly gathering of Catholics from many parishes in your local area. And, don't worry, there are no tests or grades!
