It's Thursday...did that ever mean "It's Choir night!" Are you a young adult (9th grade or older!) who loved singing in your high school or college choir, and miss that? Have you always wanted to support the arts but didn't know how to make a difference? Are you simply curious about how the language and healing power of music can connect you to others? Are you looking for a great way to express your faith through music? If you said yes to any of these questions, consider this your sign to check out the OLV Parish Adult Choir! The Parish Choir is for people in the community who have a passion for singing. The Choir maintains an exciting and active rehearsal and performance schedule. Rehearsals are on Thursdays, from 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., from September to May. The Choir normally sings at Mass on Sundays at 9:30 a.m. and other select Masses throughout the year in addition to a Christmas & Easter concert. Singers must be in the 9th grade or older and the only requirement is the ability to be able to “carry a tune”. Music reading is helpful, however, not necessary.
